I gained my first experience in accounting from Polito Eppich during a summer internship, while completing my undergrad from Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo. Subsequent to my undergrad, my interest in tax led me to achieve a Masters in Accounting with a Specialization of Taxation from the same institution within the span of a year. I started full time with Polito Eppich a month after my graduation, and now look forward to a long career with the firm.

Tax, not coffee, is what gets me up in the morning, and the Masters I received gave me an intensive understanding of the inner workings of the tax world. I look forward to becoming an expert on the tax side, but I also aspire to obtain an understanding in all aspects of accounting in order to become a well-rounded and relatable CPA.

Outside of work I have many interests, starting with traveling (I have been to at least 30 different cities across Europe) and music (I learned the piano at a young age and it is still my number one passion). The outdoors is also a mainstay in my life; on the weekends you are likely to catch me in the ocean, on a hike, on the golf course, or anything in the sun. Above all, I place an emphasis on family and friends, and always make time for special family occasions. I aspire to keep traveling and spend the rest of my life growing both personally and professionally in San Diego!
